Welcome to the Arthritis & Autoimmunity Research Centre (AARC) Foundation's web site. We are pleased you have chosen to learn more about the Foundation's mission to raise awareness of, and funds to support, research in the area of arthritis, related autoimmune disorders and musculoskeletal health at University Health Network (UHN).

The basic scientists, clinical researchers, orthopaedic surgeons and health sciences professionals, who carry on this important research, work collaboratively across UHN's three hospitals (Toronto General, Toronto Western and Princess Margaret) as well as in the new expanded research facilities at the Toronto Medical Discovery Tower. This team of exceptionally talented investigators needs our support.

We believe that the cures for these debilitating diseases which affect more than 4.5 million Canadians will not be found in a single lab or an isolated clinic. We believe that through the teamwork and partnerships of scientists, physicians, engineers and programmers, the mysteries of these diseases will ultimately unfold.

To ensure these dedicated researchers have the infrastructure and the advanced technologies to succeed, the AARC Foundation needs support from donors at all levels. Individuals, foundations and corporations are all a part of our team which can help guarantee the researchers' success.
